At the end of May I was back at one of my favorite venues-Star Bright Farm. It is hard to describe this venue if you haven’t visited. They are only allowing 10 weddings a year at their property so each wedding is so unique and special. The venue owners truly become your friends during the planning process & it is not unheard of for the bride and groom to stay up well into 3am chatting with them after their wedding is over. Your wedding day always feels like you are getting married on an old friend’s property.

Lisa and Mike were literally my most relaxed bride and groom. Lisa just wanted to remember her dress, license, and rings-the rest of the day she just kept saying “that is why you are there, but honestly, I don’t care because I will be married to my best friend”. This is the best mindset to have about the wedding day. True love will always win over florals or napkins or even drink selections. But you know what was the total winner of this wedding day? The food. Lisa works at The Corner Pantry and they catered the wedding. My assistant and I are still talking about the food from this wedding. It was literally the best food I have ever eaten.
