Suzanne and Bryan first contacted me and knew they wanted a laid back wedding. They definitely didn’t want stuffy (and honestly, Bryan didn’t even want to wear shoes for the ceremony!). They wanted a weekend where their friends and family could enjoy their day and watch their families blend. Every decision they made for their wedding was intentional with careful thought poured into those in attendance. This was such a special day to witness from Suzanne walking down the aisle absolutely beaming, their family blending sand ceremony, the adorable speech by one of Bryan’s daughters, or the way that Bryan checked on Suzanne throughout the day. It was truly such a pleasure to be around a family filled with so much love. The majority of their extended family stayed at the Inn so once the wedding was officially over…the party didn’t have to end. As I was leaving guests were gearing up a cornhole game, the kids were playing in the pool, many were strolling the grounds and some sat on chairs on the dock. And me? Well I went home (at 4pm!!!! Brunch weddings = life) and took a nap after all the delicious food I ate. Waffles and omelettes and salad bar and carving station and a donut tower/wedding cake. It was a wonderful, wonderful day that I was honored to play a small role in!
