After a few 80 degree days, today feels slightly more like autumn and that means I’m thinking about Alissa + Kevin’s beautiful waterfront fall wedding! I felt like we got the best of both worlds with this one – we started the day in downtown Baltimore at the Pendry and finished at Kevin’s gorgeous family home on the Eastern Shore. Walking into the reception space was like tearing a page out of a magazine, it was absolutely perfect and none of their guests suspected this was what we call “Plan H.”
In true pandemic-style, we changed plans and changed again, changed one more time and then made tweaks just to be sure. Once we decided to move the entire celebration out of the city and onto a private residence (and a family home which I absolutely love, so many memories already intact, and having a wedding there just made it even sweeter), the design process was seamless and simple. I completely believe everything worked out exactly as it should – what an amazing day! Many thanks to the superstar wedding team:
