Friends, this is a “throwback Thursday” post for me! Happy (almost) Anniversary Anna and Mario!

Anna and Mario were the very first clients of Sara Reynolds Events and I will be eternally grateful for their trust! Anna and I worked together at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I worked in Event Services therefore I have to assume that gave her a vote of confidence that I know how to plan events! Anna and Mario are such great compliments to one another. Anna has an infectious smile that never leaves her face and such a loving heart. Mario is the rock in their relationship and constantly cracking jokes.

Their wedding day was at Swan Harbor Farm in Havre de Grace, MD. Can we talk about that view?! Amazing. Their wedding day was filled with love, family, and birds. Friends, let’s talk about the birds. Oh my word, the birds. I was busy running around with last minute preparations for the ceremony and all of a sudden I hear “are you the wedding planner?”

“Yes, I am”

“Hi, I am the bird man.”

“Awesome. I have no idea what that means, please explain.”

The bride’s mother had arranged a dove release and for a hawk to deliver the rings down the aisle. However, she was so busy keeping the secret from the bride that the message never made it to me. That’s fine. I am a professional and we will execute! And, you know what? It was the COOLEST surprise I have ever been witness to. So, without further ado, Anna and Mario’s wedding day:
